So, I’ve given you some tips…I thought maybe it’s time to learn about a funny little tendency I have.

I’ll set the scene:

Gig is done, I’ve walked up to the singer & he says something to the effect of, “Oh man, they paid in check…I’ll get that $ to you on Monday.”  Monday comes & goes, no payment seen OR message sent.  In that moment, I have found that by sending various Rhianna GIFs about being owed money will speed up the payment process.  At the very least, it gets a good laugh while giving you a new payment ETA in the process.

-AND-

If the singer does get angry, you now have that information for future reference when accepting gigs.  IMO no one should get mad about you checking on money owed to you.  It’s just business.  Just decide if you’re sending these GIFs to them personally OR in group chat.
